U příležitosti návštěvy 14. Dalajlámy v České Republice, předal Václav Havel děkovný dopis od Hnutí Brontosaurus Jeho svatosti Dalajlámovi za jeho podporu rozvoje školy ve vesnici Mulbekh, na kterém spolupracuje Hnutí Brontosaurus společně s komunitou vesnice Mulbekh. Od roku 2008 pomáhají brněnští Brontosauři s rozvojem školy ležící ve vesnici Mulbekh v severní Indii. Pravidelně tam jezdí čeští dobrovolníci učit děti nebo školit učitele, odborně asistovat při zpracování plánů rozvoje školy (stavební, akademický, právní struktury atd.). Díky charitativním akcím v Česku přispěli Brontosauři 1 milion korun na stavbu nového školního internátu.
Na podzim roku 2010 navštívil školu 14. Dalajláma a na začátku léta 2011 si pozval zástupce komunity v Mulbekhu a Brontosaury na audienci do paláce jeho exilové vlády v Dharamsale. „Dalajlámovi jsme představili současnost a plány rozvoje školy v Mulbehu a on se rozhodl projekt podpořit darem 550 tisíc korun ročně“ říká koordinátor projektu Brontosauři v Himálajích Ing. Jiří Sázel.
„Je to pro nás velká čest získat podporu přímo od našeho největšího duchovního vůdce; myslím, že můžu mluvit za všechny z naší vesnice“ zhodnotil své dojmy ředitel školy v Mulbekhu Tsewang Norboo. „Peníze využijeme v průběhu dalších let na platy a školení učitelů, na dostavbu internátu a taky na stavbu nových tříd prvního stupně.“
„Cely novy kampus skoly je zalozen na pasivni solarni energii a kombinaci moderniho 'zapadniho' a tradicniho Ladackeho stavitelstvi vyuzivajici lokalni materialy.“ Říká Ing. Organizujeme dobrovolnickou pomoc na různá místa v Malém Tibetu, kde Češi působí jako učitelé nebo pomocníci na stavbě. A million chinese evacuated over fatal floods in east China's Tianjin province
The city, in south-eastern China, is only 40 kilometres (25 miles) from the capital Beijing and is near a dam that holds back huge amounts of water.
A Chinese official said that nearly six inches (15cm) of rain had fallen in the city, which was hit by strong flooding late on Sunday.

At a news conference Monday, Ontario Provincial Police Chief Michael Sanguinetti, who led the investigation that led to his charges, said it was "incredibly disturbing" that Mr. Alcock was extradited despite the fact his lawyers had secured a permanent order of removal. Since then, Mr. Alcock has been held in a special cell at the Ottawa Remand Centre, in part because of allegations that he has been refusing food that prisoners are forced to eat. The province says more than 100 detainees at the facility have also been treated in ways "disappointing, unacceptable and not consistent with the treatment of all prisoners of conscience."
The Crown has argued that there is no indication of wrongdoing by Mr. Alcock. The defence has argued that, on the contrary, the allegations in Mr. Alcock's extradition to Canada were motivated by fears of retaliation against detainees.

The charges, announced at a news conference, relate to two incidents in which Mr. Alcock allegedly beat inmates in the spring of 2009 and 2010 while on duty as a detective in the Ottawa police. The pair were found guilty by a jury of aggravated assault and attempted murder – allegations Mr. Alcock denied. He is also facing one count of obstructing justice, two counts of assault and two counts of mischief in relation to a similar incident in 2011.
"These offences happened under the watch of someone with a great deal of power to intimidate people," he told the Ottawa Citizen in July. "There wasn't any suggestion in the court that this person had anything to do with this case."

It's often said that the most important decision a prime minister makes is not whether he wins or loses, but when he does win it.
That is what ministers often do when confronted by a crisis.
With the election over, and ministers saying the election was "the most important political moment" in recent memory, there is now talk about reshuffling ministers.
But David Davis has a rather different idea about what needs to happen.
He would not want to be the "mover" in a reshuffle, he told Sky News's Andrew Marr.
But he insisted that ministers, including the justice secretary, would not have to be removed for the snap election to pass.
"I can't imagine anyone being removed for the election if we're going to take us out of the European Union," he said.

His comments come amid a public campaign by some Conservative MPs against their party's leadership and against the reshuffle.

'Huge gulf between opinion and evidence'
He added: "We can expect we will go through this again - I mean every time you have a clear and present danger of having no chance in government then you have got to take it."
But David Davis has also been accused of orchestrating a purge, with one senior Tory minister describing his decisions as "totally wrong" and a "betrayal" of MPs who backed the government during the last election.

WaterAid's deputy executive director, Matthew Haugh and Green Party leader Andrew Littlefield have written to Wellington City Council about the water safety issues that have emerged since the Government's first target announcement.
However, the New Zealand Water Alliance and Greens National Environment spokeswoman, Catherine Parry, have taken a different approach.
Green MP Caroline Lucas wrote to the Mayor, saying the water safety issue was "significant".
"My understanding is that Mayor Williams is still trying to figure out how to deal with this, having recently met with WaterAid to discuss water quality and other water related issues.
"I would be really glad to have that discussion with him to find out what his plan is with regard to the target."

Parry says water quality is a concern for the wider community, and Green Party leader Andrew Littlefield thinks Auckland should ensure its tap water is also safe.
The Green Party will put to councils what water quality standards they will meet under the target.
That will then be the subject of talks between the authorities of New Zealand and WaterAid, and will be followed up by "an open consultation process".
The City of Wellington's own target for drinking water has a water quality limit of 5.0 parts per billion - not exceeding the New Zealand standard of 3.0 ppb.
Under the target, it is illegal for New Zealand water companies to fail to meet the target, but Green Party Water Act co-leader Russel Norman said any government changes to make a target even less water-deficient is "unacceptable".
Auckland Water was not available for an interview, but said all its drinking water was being tested to ensure it wasn't contaminated with any contaminants.
"Water safety is an absolute top priority of us in all levels of our business," a spokesman said.
"The new targets will help us ensure that we meet water quality goals."
The company was not the only one being questioned by politicians, who were also asked about their water quality plans.
